Mentoring leaders as they prepare a rota for event intercessors

"A leadership development programme that fails to develop leaders is an oxymoron!"

James Gray,
City Temple URC, London
Rev Brian and Cathy Clarke leading worship at the inaugural DFBI gathering

"What happened... blew me out of my spiritual pond into the ocean of faith. I cannot fully describe all that happened at Dunamis. In many ways it was very personal yet very profound. I came away knowing that the Holy Spirit had been present not just because of the speaking in tongues, prophecies and pictures but because of what he was doing in people's lives and churches. Indeed, if he is not at work then our labour is in vain."

George Watt,
St Andrew's URC, Cheam

Dunamis Leadership

Dunamis nurtures leadership from within. Rather than becoming dependent on an 'expert', spiritual experience and understanding grows and people are equipped to give a lead to others.

In the course of a Dunamis Track (series) there is an ongoing process of discernment. We seek to identify potential future Dunamis leaders, whilst recognising that for many people their sphere of service will rightly lie within the local church setting.

All members of an event Leadership Team are current members of the Dunamis Fellowship. Overall responsibility for each event rests with the Track Director, who is appointed by the Dunamis Fellowship, and the Director draws together a team to cover key ministries:
